What is Fractional RF Micro-needle?

Fractional RF Micro-needle is a procedure that involves the penetration of insulated microneedles into the dermis to deliver high-tensioned radiofrequency pulse into the targeted tissue. This results in the body’s own production of elastin and collagen fibres, making skin firmer and healthier.

The Derma Solution Micro-Needle Fractional RF System is the ideal technology for skin lifting, tightening and rejuvenation by utilising minimally invasive micro-needles to deliver controlled RF energy directly into various depths of the skin ensuring the RF heat is penetrated much deeper, leaving the top skin layer cool.

Features and Indications

The depth of penetration of the micro-needles can be adjusted from 0.5 to 3.5mm based on treatment target areas, and radiofrequency energy is then released inside of the skin. The RF energy is delivered through the focused tip of the micro-needles, leading to far-less trauma to the surrounding epidermis. This leads to significantly decreased discomfort and down time for the patient compared to conventional fractional lasers. The needle tip contains 25, 49 and 81 very small gold needles acting as an internal conductor.

The combination of microneedles and radiofrequency leads to a more substantial improvement in skin quality and texture. This combination also allows the procedure to treat a variety of concerns such as skin tightening and brightening, pore size reduction and stretch marks. It is also effective in scar treatment such as deep acne scars, ice pick scars, atrophic scars, burn and operation scars.
